The Invitation
At our weekly worship we gather around God’s table and extend this invitation

This is the table not of the Church but of our Lord.

It is made ready for those who love Him, those who want to love Him, and those who want to love Him more.

So come: you who have much faith and you who have little;

you who have been here often and you who have not been for a long time;

you who have tried to follow and you who have failed.

Come: not because it is I who invite you, it is our Lord.

It is His will that those who want Him should meet Him here.

The Five Marks of Mission
The Five Marks of Mission can also be summed up in five helpful words which are at the very heart of being an Anglican disciple: Tell · Teach · Tend · Transform · Treasure

There really isn't anything about Anglican discipleship that makes it very different from being a disciple in any Christian community, though Anglicans have always placed a great emphasis on thinking and reasoning about our faith. However, there is one thing that is distinctively Anglican that makes a big difference to our lives as disciples of Jesus. It is the Five Marks of Mission.

1.    To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom.
2.    To teach, baptize, and nurture new believers.
3.    To respond to human need by loving service.
4.    To transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind, and pursue peace and reconciliation.
5.    To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth.

History - Anglican Communion Website

The Five Marks of Mission have won wide acceptance among Anglicans and other Christian traditions and have given parishes and dioceses around the world a practical and memorable “checklist” for mission activities. They are not a final and complete statement on mission but they offer a practical guide to the holistic nature of mission.
